Using the McMIX app allows you and other educators to prepare tests on Word and import data directly into the application using familiar copy and paste operations. This means that with regular Word data, you can copy and paste it into the test preparation app, or for data in the question bank, you can save or print questions into a Word file on McMIX.

Printing Questions to Word File on McMIX
To print questions from the question bank to a Word file on McMIX, follow these instructions:
Step 1: Download and install the latest version of the McMIX software from here.
Step 2: Once installed, open the McMIX software, then:
- Perform the multiple-choice test creation using McMix as instructed by Mytour in the previous article.
- In the Exam Management - Exam Subject/Standard Test interface as shown below -> proceed with Step 3 below.
Step 3: Click on the Exam Code - Exam Name on the right side of the software interface -> then select Create/Print Test
The Standard Test interface appears below. Here you can:
- Add: To add a question
- Edit Question: If you wish to edit
- Delete: If you want to remove a question.
- Edit Group Number and Edit Answer: Allow you to edit the group number and edit the answers you have created.
Additionally, you can:
- Print Original Test: Allows printing question files in Word format. The original test will be printed in the correct order as you input data into McMIX.
- Print Standard Test: When selecting Print Standard Test, the file printed will follow the order set by the user, without answers, and will be printed like a real exam paper format.
Step 4: To print questions from the question bank to a Word file using Print Original Test -> click on the Print Original Test button.
The Word editing interface will display the original test created by you.
Next, you can choose to print immediately by clicking on Print, or adjust the print layout if needed. The interface below is displayed when you click on Adjust Print Layout for further editing.
Adjusting the print layout is similar to selecting and adjusting paper size in Word as Mytour has shared in previous articles.
After editing, you can proceed to Print or click Go Back to the Standard Test interface.
Step 5: If you want to print questions from the question bank to a Word file using Print Standard Test -> similarly to step 4, click on Print Standard Test.
The Test Paper Format interface appears -> here, you select Exam Date, Exam Time, Exam Duration, while choosing a Template, selecting headers, choosing default footers of the program, editing notes if necessary -> then click Save to save the settings.
The Word editing program interface appears as shown below. When you choose to print a standard test, the content when printed will be exactly as you have set and edited. Also, it will display in standard format like a real exam paper.
To save or print the Word test file you just created -> go to the File menu -> Save As and then proceed to save the file normally.

Basically, printing questions to a Word file is quite simple, the difficulty and time-consuming aspect of working with McMIX lies in creating, editing precise questions, and answers on this software, while printing or exporting to a Word file is relatively basic because it only requires pressing a button.
