Hello, Mrs. and fellow classmates of 7A. I'm Thanh Hai. In today's class, I'd like to share my views on youth and the appreciation of various art forms.
As we all know, our country has a history spanning over 4000 years. Throughout this time, our ancestors have steadfastly protected and built our nation. With their brilliant minds and skilled hands, they created numerous valuable traditional art works.
Nowadays, we are exposed to countless new and modern forms of entertainment such as social media, movies, online games, etc. Consequently, traditional art forms are gradually being forgotten. Traditional stages like cheo, tuong, cai luong, etc., only see middle-aged and elderly visitors. Folk art is being replaced by modern paintings.
However, alongside this, there are still many young people who love and are interested in traditional arts. They have developed and created projects to preserve and promote them to everyone around them. Moreover, they diligently seek ways to adapt without losing the inherent essence, still attracting young visitors. All of these demonstrate the deep sense of responsibility and awareness of the younger generation in inheriting traditions from their ancestors.
At the National Cultural Conference (2021), General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong affirmed: 'Culture is the spiritual foundation of society, serving as both a goal and an inherent strength, a vital driving force for the country's development.' Therefore, young people should now have the right awareness and actions regarding the appreciation of traditional art forms. Actively seek knowledge, broaden your horizons to discover the profound beauty within each form. Furthermore, schools and teachers should enhance students' education about the traditions and culture of the country.
Hopefully, traditional art forms will continue to shine brightly over time. So that, every time we look at them, we will see a rich cultural heritage of Vietnam.

When we mention traditional art forms, what comes to mind? Firstly, we can mention folk performing arts such as cheo, tuong, don ca tai tu, Quan ho folk songs, etc. Additionally, we have folk art, ancient architecture, etc. These art forms still exist and thrive in modern life. Many young people have spent time and effort to explore and broaden their knowledge of traditional art. They are deeply immersed in the beauty of these artworks. With intense passion and enthusiasm, these individuals have initiated and organized projects and exhibitions like 'Vietnamese Epic Theater,' 'Northern Funeral Rhythms,' '48-Hour Cheo,' etc. Moreover, some individuals have brought traditional art closer to modern people by printing folk paintings on clothes, cups, and implementing projects like 'Redrawing Folk Paintings.'
It can be said that, thanks to preservation and development efforts, traditional art forms continue to exist in life. From here, we - the future custodians of the nation, need to love and be more passionate about the culture and artifacts left by our ancestors. At the same time, we must deeply understand the responsibility of preserving, conserving, and promoting our national traditions. Hopefully, amidst global integration, alongside absorbing the essence of humanity, we will know how to promote and spread Vietnamese cultural and artistic heritage to friends across continents.
