If you're a fan of the Facebook app for Windows 10, brace yourself for some bad news. The app is no longer available. Users can't find it on the Microsoft Store, and if there's a direct link to the listing, you'll see the message 'Facebook is currently unavailable'.
You can still download Facebook on Android and iOS, though.
- Get Facebook for Android
- Get Facebook for iPhone
That's all we know. Changes might just be temporary with a new version in the works to replace it, although it seems the app might be gone for good while awaiting updates. However, Facebook doesn't seem to be completely abandoning Windows 10, as both Messenger and Instagram are still present in the store, with Instagram actually being added to the Store as a PWA.
Perhaps, the Facebook app for Windows 10 will continue to operate in the near future, as long as you've got it. For the best experience, you might want to use the web browser. That's what most people still do, evidenced by the decision to remove Facebook's app.
Also during this time, tech giant Google has just rolled out a significant upgrade for its Pixel phones. It's known that Google releases Pixel Feature Drop with a host of new features applicable to both Pixel 2 and 4.
