Starting today, Netflix programs will be available on Portal TV, provided you are subscribed to this streaming service. However, the service currently operates only in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, Italy, New Zealand, and Spain. Netflix will join other streaming services already on Portal, such as Amazon Prime Video and Sling TV.
The company introduces a new remote control, featuring one-touch buttons for launching streaming apps like Prime Video, Netflix, and Facebook Watch. This product will hit the shelves alongside the new Portal TV devices starting today and will be available in stores in the coming weeks.

Facebook has also added support for Zoom on Portal, equipped with high-fidelity audio and a smart camera for quick video calls. With Zoom, you can make calls to 25 people on Portal simultaneously, though this number is still less than the maximum limit of 50 people on Messenger Rooms, which was introduced on Portal devices in July. The video conferencing platform is being rolled out for Portal, Portal Mini, and Portal+ in markets where Portal is sold.

The Story Time library is adding a wealth of new stories, and augmented reality support will bring four classic Dr. Seuss stories to life this fall, including Hop on Pop, Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?, The Foot Book, and There's a Wocket in my Pocket!.
Additionally, users can use their voice to control augmented reality effects in the Portal Photo Booth. This means users can say 'Hey Portal' with AR effects to create and send cards with various themes. Finally, voice control in Spanish is now supported, with more languages to be added in the future. Users can also choose French, Spanish, and English for on-screen text.
The Chrome browser on mobile has a new version aimed at enhancing password security for users.
