With this new feature, when you select the Share option located at the bottom corner of the event's date and time information on the Facebook page, you'll see an option called Share to Your Story to post the event on your Story. This information will be visible to your friends and family when they tap on the sticker in that Story, along with the RSVP option if they plan to attend the event.
Facebook is testing a feature to share events on Stories
- For Android devices: Facebook for Android
- For iOS devices: Facebook for iPhone
The new feature is currently in the testing phase and is only available in select countries, including the United States, Brazil, and Mexico. There is no information yet on when Facebook will officially launch this new feature.
Since its launch until the end of last year, Facebook Stories has surpassed 300 million daily users, surpassing even Snapchat - the originator of the Story feature. This new feature is seen as Facebook's effort to introduce and attract users to use Facebook Stories more. However, whether the new feature will be successful or not remains to be seen in the coming time.
