Facebook is testing the Stories feature on computers
The computer version of Stories allows users to explore Stories from their friends directly on the browser (though this feature is still limited on the Facebook app).
TechCrunch's screenshot reveals the placement of Stories at the top right corner of the News Feed, where Facebook typically showcases user events and birthdays. Clicking on a Story darkens the screen, and the Story popup appears in the top corner.
