With the new Messenger API support for Instagram, we can now enhance efficiency, drive even stronger user engagement, and easily maintain two-way conversations with our followers. This technology has helped us create a new process for best service and provide fast and easy direct communication for both customers and our internal team.'

Businesses are increasingly looking to use a single platform to respond to messages across multiple channels. With the latest update to the Messenger API, they will be able to manage conversations and use information from their core business systems alongside messaging features on Instagram. For example, businesses can integrate social media messages with CRM systems. This means that messages from customers can be displayed alongside their order history. Facebook's new update will also bring Facebook Shops messaging features into the Messenger API so that businesses can create more effective customer interaction experiences and connect better.
Support for Messenger API for Instagram is currently in beta and Adidas, Amaro, Glossier, H&M, Magazine Luiza, Michael Kors, Nars, Sephora, TechStyle Fashion Group, and other consumer brands have started testing this new feature with their customers.
Additionally, Microsoft Teams - a collaboration tool in business and online teaching in education, will feature added messaging and notification capabilities.
