Faker has shared insights about the current meta and Corki's pick rate in the NS match.
In the match on January 27th (Vietnam time) against Nongshim RedForce, Faker's T1 clinched a tremendously hard-fought victory. NS demonstrated themselves as formidable opponents despite being among the most altered teams in the last transfer season of 2021. In this encounter, the superior team, T1, secured a profoundly convincing win.

Amidst the brilliance of many young stars on both T1 and NS sides, Faker still had the opportunity to showcase his abilities. In game 1 using Corki, Faker never faltered. Transitioning to game 3, wielding the 'secure' Azir, the 'Demon King' displayed his prowess despite being the oldest player in this clash. With Faker's current form and his young teammates, the objective for both T1 players and fans is undoubtedly the titles - something they've lacked over many consecutive seasons.

In his interview, when questioned about the mid lane position, with the top 4 midlaners of the LCK vying for the top 4 positions, Faker stated: 'The mid lane position is the most crucial in the current meta. However, the ultimate victory is not solely reliant on the mid lane but also on the teammates.'
Faker also concedes to finding the choice of Corki somewhat mundane, as this champion's sole task is to unleash Missile Barrage at the right target. However, in T1's game 1 pick, Faker promptly locked in Corki when given the chance, explaining this by stating, 'In the LCK, teams aim for the late game, and Corki is extremely potent at that stage. Many teams still struggle to neutralize Corki's strength. It's a purely meta-driven choice, and when the opportunity arises, I will select it immediately.'

On the eve of the 2022 Lunar New Year holiday, Faker and his teammates face one more incredibly challenging match against the reigning LCK 2021 champions - DWG KIA. But with spirits high and players in top form, a victory is certainly within reach for the 'Demon King' and his young team.
