(Homeland) - Faker seems to be not in his best form at the moment due to the injury.
The 3rd week of Spring 2023 LCK saw T1's undefeated streak end against Hanwha Life Esports. It was an unexpected feat for HLE, especially considering their previous position at the bottom of the standings while Faker and teammates were in top form. After the loss, T1 managed a hard-fought victory against Nongshim RedForce (NS) to maintain the top spot.

Following the HLE defeat, even T1 members like Faker and coach Bengi admitted to experimenting with draft strategies. Additionally, the setback will serve as a learning experience, better preparing them for upcoming matches. Some fans also acknowledge that the undefeated streak in LCK Spring 2022 is only cosmetic if T1 continues to fall short internationally (such as MSI or Worlds).

However, recently, T1 fans discovered another reason for Faker and teammates facing difficulties in competition. Fans noticed a clearly visible scar on Faker's wrist. Not long ago, Faker suffered a fall and a wrist injury. Despite Faker claiming full recovery, the wound seems more significant than anticipated. The scar is located in a vulnerable position, affected during keyboard and mouse operations.

Moreover, it's not just Faker; T1's Bottom Lane duo is also encountering various issues. In a recent interview, Gumayusi mentioned feeling less than optimal health. Meanwhile, some T1 fans believe that Keria, despite his skills, lacks the leadership needed for the team, relying too much on Faker's guidance during challenging times.

T1 is truly facing evident challenges, even in the victory against NS. However, this isn't the first time T1 has faced scrutiny, and the team members are undoubtedly working to find solutions for the upcoming journey. The season has just begun, and T1 will certainly not settle for just a single domestic title, as in the 2022 season.
