Faker Shares Thoughts on Intense Victory over KT in LCK Spring 2023 Playoffs.
On the first day of playoffs at LCK Spring 2023, T1 clashed with KT Rolster. The T1 players were taken aback as KT proved to be formidable opponents. Instead of an easy win, T1 sweated it out to defeat KT in what was dubbed the 'telecom showdown,' the most epic in LCK history.

In a prolonged match, focus was crucial for T1 players. Maintaining concentration throughout, especially in extended matches like the 55-minute Game 5, was no easy feat. This match also marked one of the longest in LCK history, with both teams accumulating over 200k gold and 60 kills (averaging over 1 kill per minute).

Faker revealed that maintaining focus wasn't innate but acquired through training. Interestingly, it was Gumayusi and Zeus who frequently boosted team morale in the 'telecom showdown' against KT. T1's captain admitted to facing difficulties: 'KT always presents a strong Red side composition, particularly the Veigar - Zeri combo. We struggled to counter this composition. After losing Game 2, I knew it wouldn't be an easy match.'

Acknowledging T1's subpar performance, Faker believes playing in the winner's bracket would be more comfortable. However, Mid laner of T1 insists the team must train rigorously before considering championship aspirations. These are certainly expectations from T1 fans, especially after witnessing their beloved team endure hardships against their chosen opponents.
