To carry out their demon-slaying mission alongside Sound Pillar Tengen in the Red Light District, Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu will don women's attire in episode 2 of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen.
The first episode of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen has aired, drawing significant attention from viewers. Following Rengoku's demise and escape, Akaza seeks out Muzan's location (currently inhabiting a child's form) to relay the situation. Despite not locating the blue spider lily as requested, Akaza reveals he has slain a Pillar. However, instead of satisfaction, Muzan expresses anger and disappointment at Akaza for letting three other Demon Slayers survive!
The narrative then shifts to Tanjiro's group. After their mission, they return to the estate for treatment. Despite his abdominal wound not fully healing, Tanjiro urgently visits the Rengoku estate to report the situation, disregarding his injuries. Rengoku's father appears and scolds the estate. Tanjiro, enraged, speaks out, leading to an argument with Shinjurou. Tanjiro learns further information regarding the Sun Breathing technique being the origin of all other breathing techniques.
Frustrated by Shinjurou's harsh words, Tanjuro immediately attacks him. He is then taken inside by Senjuro for a conversation. Senjuro also provides Tanjiro with a supposed guidebook containing information on the Sun Breathing technique. However, crucial pages have been torn apart by Shinjurou. Tanjiro encounters Uncle Haganezuka (naturally, pursued by him for losing his sword). Four months after Viem Tru's passing, Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu return to training and missions, fully recovered.
Several days later, Sound Pillar Uzui Tengen appears at Hohihoi Mansion and abducts several children. After some deliberation, Kanao intervenes to halt Uzui. Tanjiro witnesses the situation upon his return. Uzui explains that he requires girls for the next mission, thus his actions. Following a discussion, Tanjiro offers his group to substitute for the girls. Uzui agrees to lead all three to the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters - Red Light District, where they will execute their demon-slaying mission!
In the next episode, the Sound Pillar will explain the mission they are about to undertake. Based on intelligence from his three wives, the Sound Pillar knows that a demon is infiltrating one of three households: the Tokito household, the Ogimoto household, and the Kyougoku household in the Red Light District. The mission of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke is to disguise themselves as girls and 'infiltrate' these three households to gather more information. This will be the main content of the next anime episode.
Despite their somewhat dubious 'beauty,' with the luck and talent of the Sound Pillar, all three swordsmen will be able to enter the three suspected demon locations. Meanwhile, the Sound Pillar will quietly observe the entire street to pinpoint the demon's location. Upon noticing the demon's discreet actions, the Sound Pillar speculates that this may be a high-ranking demon. And indeed, as the Sound Pillar guessed, the demon hiding in the Red Light District is Upper Moon Six Daki. Through extremely discreet actions, Daki has captured Makio, the Sound Pillar's wife!
Overall, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen episode 2 will be a particularly interesting and captivating episode as the humorous antics of the trio of comedians Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke will be showcased. Audiences are sure to have delightful laughs as these 3 characters cross-dress and carry out their mission. There will also be some awkward situations in this episode.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen episode 2 will premiere at 11:15 PM (Japan time) on December 12, 2021. Following the first episode, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen immediately entered the top 10 rankings of the fall 2021 anime chart. With this second episode, it promises to further skyrocket the ranking of this anime.
