Zin is showing signs that he has yet to regain his top form at VCS Sunset 2023.
Since joining GAM Esports after Bie's departure, Spring 2023 truly demonstrated a peak performance from Zin with consistent form. In numerous matches, he even carried the team. With champions like Nautilus and Rakan, Zin made significant contributions to GAM's victory in the VCS Spring 2023 championship. However, he and his teammates experienced a forgettable MSI 2023.

Continuing to compete in the yellow-black jersey at VCS Sunset 2023, alongside Zin, it's no longer Sty1e or error management but Slayder with proven experience and skills. However, after Sty1e's departure, GAM seems to be struggling more. They are currently ranked 6th on the leaderboard (excluding the match against Team Whales), but the issue isn't solely their ranking.

Recently, GAM released a video recording the calls and communication of the players in their unexpected loss to Team Flash. Viewers noticed that Zin seems to be out of sync with his teammates. In many instances, he appeared overly aggressive or made calls that encroached on Levi's territory – who typically makes the team's key decisions during matches.
According to many opinions, Zin is demonstrating poor coordination and communication with his teammates in critical situations for GAM. Additionally, some viewers pointed out that champions like Lulu aren't utilized much by Zin. This indicates that his champion pool might be limited. Furthermore, despite Milio being a highly favored pick in LCK, LPL, etc., Zin has yet to select this new champion in any match.

Furthermore, some viewers argue that GAM's issue might not solely lie with Sty1e but also with the Bot Lane duo. What hasn't been revealed before is that in previous metas, the Support's proficiency in initiating fights (Zin's specialty) was crucial. As for Sty1e, his mistakes and perplexing plays have been overly evident.
Currently, GAM still has plenty of opportunities to bounce back as the tournament is still in its early stages. The revealed issues necessitate GAM to swiftly address their weaknesses if they don't want to prolong the string of disappointments since MSI 2023.
