While some critiques from Boruto and Naruto fans may seem exaggerated, it cannot be denied that the Boruto manga has been increasingly popular and has garnered affection from Naruto enthusiasts.
However, the animation quality in Studio Pierrot's adaptation remains an issue leaving viewers dissatisfied. With the anime set to go on an indefinite hiatus this summer, Studio Pierrot will have time to address some of the issues raised by fans.
Furthermore, the studio has announced a new Naruto anime project consisting of only four episodes scheduled to premiere in September this year. This project is part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the Naruto franchise.
