CES faced a defeat despite having many advantages, and EGO is the most talked-about name in that context.
Alongside major tournaments in other regions around the world, at the current moment, the VCS Summer 2022 - the highest-level League of Legends (LOL) tournament in Vietnam, is also reaching the final stages of the group stage. However, the teams advancing to the knockout stage are still uncertain.

Perhaps, it's been a long time since Vietnamese audiences have seen such an exciting VCS season as this Summer, with each team visibly stronger than in the Spring. The determination of the teams is high, and we can mention 4-5 names as contenders for the VCS Summer 2022 championship and a spot at the 2022 World Championship. Examples include GAM Esports (GAM), Team Secret (TS), Saigon Buffalo (SGB), or even SBTC Esports (SE).

However, one name is somewhat bringing disappointment to the fans - CERBERUS Esports (CES). Despite having the same win-loss record as SGB, what matters is the reason behind CES's failures. Importantly, from the beginning of Summer 2022 until now, CES continues to worry fans by constantly rotating the roster, lacking a stable framework.
Recently, CES had a match against Team Whales (TW) - a team with some good performances and currently in the middle of the standings. However, CES suffered a 0-2 defeat. Particularly, in the second game, there was a moment when CES led by more than 12 thousand gold. However, in the end, CES couldn't secure the victory despite having such an advantage.

As CES faces defeat, many fans express their disappointment. Simultaneously, player Nguyễn 'EGO' Khánh Hòa - the former Jungler of the team, is also brought into the conversation. During EGO's active playtime, the Jungle position was always considered the strongest for CES. However, crucially, both Draktharr and Leash currently fail to bring reassurance.

Nevertheless, it's almost certain that EGO will find it challenging to make a comeback in the near future. Therefore, CES must strive to show the fans that they can play well without relying on EGO. And the best way to achieve this is securing a spot in the knockout stage if CES wants to avoid falling into a crisis.
