During long holidays, everyone has the urge to travel. To avoid unpleasant experiences, here are some key points to consider.
Opt for unconventional travel destinations for holiday trips. For example, avoid Sa Pa if you haven't secured necessary services like train tickets or hotel rooms as they tend to be limited.
– Choose coastal areas when the weather no longer attracts beachgoers, or explore pristine islands, or visit lesser-known destinations.

– Pack essential supplies, clothing, food, and medication for the expected duration of your holiday journey if you wish to avoid purchasing items at exorbitant prices at tourist spots.
– Avoid carrying bulky belongings during transit to prevent loss or forgetfulness. Travel light with luggage that suits your carrying capacity.
– Only carry the exact amount of cash needed for your travel expenses. It's best to use credit cards or ATMs whenever possible. Avoid carrying too much cash and refrain from keeping money, important documents, or jewelry in your luggage without keeping them close to you.
– Before setting off, make sure to contact the service providers for your trip to confirm the type of services you've booked. Request detailed information about the booked services and obtain specific confirmation from them.
– Try to vary your sightseeing itinerary from regular tourist groups to avoid overcrowding or excessive noise. For example, you can wake up earlier to depart first, or take alternative routes instead of arriving at point A first as usual, then head to point B before returning to point A.
– Avoid checking into hotels too early when our rooms are not yet ready. If our train or flight arrives too early, we should arrange to store luggage at the hotel, then go sightseeing before returning to check in. Also, check out on time to facilitate later arrivals.
