For an efficient copying process, utilize the pre-set keyboard shortcuts in Windows instead of relying on mouse control (this also speeds up tasks, especially for continuous backup jobs).
These shortcuts include:
- Ctrl + C: Command to copy files, folders, text... from the source.
- Ctrl + X: Command to cut files, folders, text... from the source.
- Ctrl + V: Command to paste files, folders, text... to the destination.
Method 2: Utilize Windows 8 operating system.
With this approach, users can upgrade their operating system from older versions (such as Windows XP, Windows 7) to the latest Windows 8. In Windows 8, the copying speed is significantly faster compared to older versions, and users can pause or resume the backup process at any time, a feature not available in older versions.
Method 3: Employ the
To execute this approach, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Start Menu, type cmd, then press Enter.
Step 2: Use the robocopy command to initiate the data copying process, with the syntax:
Robocopy Source_Drive:\Source_Folder Destination_Drive:\Destination_Folder.
Then press Enter.
(Note: Here, data is copied from DungLV folder to Dung folder within drive C).
The copying process will be carried out.
Method 4: Utilize software assistance for data copying and movement.
