Guide to Quickly Changing Minecraft Game Modes
1. Current Minecraft Game Modes
Minecraft offers 3 primary game modes and 2 less commonly played supplementary mod modes, including:
- Creative
- Survival
- Adventure
- Spectator
- Hardcore
2. Changing Minecraft Game Modes
To ensure stability when switching between Minecraft game modes, you need to upgrade the game to the latest version and follow the correct sequence of steps. By following the Mytour instructions carefully, you are guaranteed to succeed.
A) Switching to Creative Mode in Minecraft
This is a fairly popular game mode if you're already playing Minecraft. You can find it in the game's main interface when launching. When setting up the game, click Play =>Create New =>Create New World => go to the Default Game Mode drop-down menu and select Creative mode, Minecraft game mode.
- Alternatively, you can use commands to change the Minecraft game mode, which is much more convenient than manual changes.
+ /gamemode creative
+ /gamemode 1
B) Switching to Survival Mode in Minecraft
Survival mode isn't available in the Minecraft setup options. You'll need to perform similar steps to Creative mode, then use the /gamemode command to change game modes.
- Click Play => Create New => Create New World, then select Default Game Mode => Creative.
- Then use the /gamemode survival or /gamemode 0 command to switch Minecraft modes.
C) Switching to Adventure Mode in Minecraft
Similar to Survival, Adventure mode isn't available when creating a new map or game mode in Minecraft. Instead, you'll need to manually switch to Adventure mode using commands once the game has started. Minecraft Adventure mode allows you to restrict what others can do.
- Play => Create New => Create New World => Default Game Mode => Creative- Use the /gamemode adventure or /gamemode 2 command to change Minecraft game modes.
D) Switching to Hardcore and Spectator Modes
- Hardcore Minecraft: To create a Hardcore Minecraft game mode, at the initial screen, select Create New World and click on the Hardcore game mode. Note that Allow Cheats and Bonus Chest are not available here, and the map will be deleted if initialization fails. Hardcore Minecraft is the toughest game mode, and you cannot switch to any other game mode except Spectator while playing it.
- Spectator Minecraft:
+ As mentioned above, the Spectator mode can be accessed after players participate in Hardcore Minecraft mode by pressing the F3+N key combination after death (press the key combination to switch back to the game mode).
+ Additionally, to switch to Spectator Minecraft mode, you can use the command /gamemode spectator or /gamemode 3
Hopefully, with Mytour's guide on changing Minecraft game modes, you'll be able to switch between game modes more quickly and conveniently in your gaming experience. Furthermore, if you encounter screen freezing when launching Minecraft, follow Mytour's instructions to completely resolve this issue.
