Only the creator can delete Zalo groups
I. Guide to Deleting Zalo Chat Groups
1. Dissolving Zalo Groups on Samsung, Xiaomi, iPhone ...
The steps to delete Zalo groups on Android, iOS are the same, including removing members from Zalo groups on iPhone, Xiaomi, etc. Mytour will guide you on Xiaomi, and users of other phones can do the same.
Step 1: Open Zalo and access the Zalo chat group you want to delete. Look at the top right corner, click the 3 horizontal lines icon (Figure 1). The Options interface appears, swipe up the screen, find and click 'Group Settings' (Figure 2).
Step 2: Group Settings appear, swipe up the screen and click 'Dissolve Group' to delete the group (Figure 3). A notification 'Invite everyone to leave the group ...' appears, click 'Delete' if you want to delete the group (Figure 4). If you don't want to delete, click '
Immediately after that, Zalo will notify 'Group ... has been dissolved' (Figure 5). Thus, you have successfully deleted the Zalo group.

2. Deleting Zalo Chat Groups on Computer
Deleting Zalo groups on PC is also possible. If you want to dissolve a group on PC, follow these steps:
Step 1: On your computer, open and log in to Zalo. Look at the left side of the interface, click the List icon then click 'Group List'.
Step 2: Swipe the screen and click on the group you want to delete as shown below.
Step 3: Click on the group's profile picture.
Step 4: Click on 'Manage group'.
Step 5: Move the mouse to the right side of the Zalo interface and scroll down, find and click 'Dissolve group'.
Step 6: A notification will appear 'Invite everyone to leave the group and delete messages ...', you click 'Dissolve group'.
Immediately after that, Zalo will delete, exit that group, and return to the initial interface like step 1:
After deleting the group, you can also create another similar chat group to invite other members to join.

II. FAQs when Deleting Zalo Chat Groups
Question 1. Does anyone know how to dissolve Zalo groups?
Answer: The group creator is the owner and has rights such as deleting the group, removing members from Zalo groups, which only the group creator can do. Unlike when members leave the group themselves or add someone to the group, there will be notifications, but when dissolving the group, no information will be displayed, as if the group never existed. Therefore, when the group creator deletes it, all members in the group do not know, and Zalo does not notify them.
Question 2. Can Zalo groups be restored after dissolution?
Answer: As indicated in the notification in step 6 when performing on the computer or in step 2 when deleting Zalo groups on the phone, dissolving Zalo groups cannot be restored. To create a group again, you can only create a new group.
Question 3: How to restore dissolved Zalo groups?
Answer: Deleting a group is permanent and cannot be restored. Therefore, if you want to invite the members of a group that you previously deleted to a new group, you need to create a new Zalo chat group.
