Travelers venturing to Phu Quoc Island will have the opportunity to marvel at the sight of fishing boats laden with abundant fish arriving at the fish port every early morning.
Feast your eyes at the historic An Thoi fish port on the pearl island of Phu Quoc
As per our records, An Thoi fish port (located in An Thoi town, Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang province) has received hundreds of billions of Vietnamese dong in investment from the government with the expectation that it will become the hub for post-fishing services in the Western sea area. Currently, the oldest An Thoi fish port on Phu Quoc Island has been fully invested in infrastructure such as port bridges, access roads, and premises, allowing it to handle thousands of tons of fish annually for transportation to the mainland for consumption. Among these, mackerel is the main seafood supply for the traditional fish sauce production villages of Phu Quoc.
