Google Maps serves as a repository for numerous beautiful images contributed by Local Guides. If you're a fan of Google Maps images but can't find a way to download them to your device, follow the steps below.

1. Downloading Images on Google Maps via Chrome or Cốc Cốc Browser
Step 1: Access Google Maps using the Chrome browser, and open the location with the desired image. Next, scroll down to the Photos section and click on All.

Step 2: Find and select the image you want (1), then right-click on the image => choose Inspect (2) or press F12.

Step 3: Click on the Source (1) section => open the subfolder lh3.ggpht.com/p (2) => select the first image file (3). Next, right-click on the image => Save image as… (4).
Note: Typically, Google Maps will display 2 image files in the subfolder. Pay attention to the resolution box (highlighted in red) in the image below and choose the higher resolution file. If the image has a resolution of 512 x 384 or 384 x 512, it means it's a low-quality preview image and quite blurry.

Step 4: After saving, click on the download file icon V (1) => Open (2).

Afterward, the image will open with the desired quality, marking success.

2. Extracting Images from Google Maps using Firefox Browser
Step 1: Access Google Maps through the Firefox browser and find the location with the desired image. Then, locate and click on All (1) => right-click in the header area (2) => Menu Bar (3).

Step 2: Click to select the desired image (1) => Tools (2) => Page Info (3) or press the shortcut keys Ctrl + I.

Step 3: Click on the Multimedia (1) section => choose the image (2) => Save as (3).
Note: Pay attention to the Size section (highlighted in red) and select the image with the largest size for downloading with the best quality.

Step 4: Choose the destination to save (1) => change Save as type to All Files (2) => replace the extension .html with .jpg (3) => Save (4).

Step 5: Open the folder where the image is downloaded and double-click on the image to check.

If the image displays well and is not blurry, consider it a success.

3. Retrieving Google Maps Images on Mobile Devices
On mobile devices, there isn't a direct method to obtain original images from Google Maps like on computers. However, we can capture images with lower quality by taking screenshots. Here's how you can do it:

Step 2: Rotate your phone horizontally and tap in the middle of the image to hide information and tools.
