Ever faced the inconvenience of running out of gas while driving? It won't be a major issue anymore if you know how to locate the nearest gas station using your phone.
1. Find the Nearest Gas Station Using Google Maps App
Google Maps is one of the best mapping applications available today, known for its high accuracy and detailed information. With it, you can easily find the closest gas stations.
Step 1: Download the Google Maps app on your Android or iPhone.
Step 2: Open Google Maps. If prompted, Allow Google Maps to access your location.
Step 3: In the menu below the search bar, swipe left and tap on Gas Stations.
Step 4: Gas stations near you will be marked on the map with a Gas Pump icon. Additionally, Google Maps lists gas shops and kitchens, so pay attention to find the right gas station.
Tap on a Gas Station near you >> Directions.
Step 5: On the next screen, you'll receive directions to the selected gas station, press Start.
2. Find Gas Stations along Your Route (Google Maps)
If you already have a route planned on Google Maps, you can search for gas stations along that route. This way, you won't have to worry too much about where to refuel.
Step 1: Search for the destination you want to go on Google Maps, press Directions to get the route.
Step 2: Once you have the route you'll take, tap the Magnifying Glass icon. Then select Gas Stations.
On the map, you'll find gas stations appearing along your route.
