Information from Kangaroo indicates that the company's water purifier products are constantly in a state of shortage. Orders, especially within the official Kangaroo distributor network, have reached tens of thousands.
Currently, Kangaroo is maximizing production at the factory, running three shifts continuously to meet part of the customer demand.
“As this is a high-precision technical product, production to meet technical processes has increased the market supply only to a limited extent. Therefore, the demand is still much higher than the production capacity of the Kangaroo factory,” said Mr. Phung The Vinh, Director of Kangaroo Home Appliances Division.
The Kangaroo Hydrogen Water Purifier, introduced in May 2017, is considered a new phenomenon in Vietnam, applying hydrogen-generating technology from Korean ceramic minerals. This is the result of research and production collaboration between the Kangaroo Applied Research Institute team and Korean experts. The Kangaroo Hydrogen Water Purifier is known as the first and only product in Vietnam to apply Hydrogen technology to water after filtration.
According to Dr. Doan Van Tuan, Environmental Technology Ph.D. at Yonsei University, South Korea, “the current demand is no longer about eating well and looking good, but about eating clean and staying healthy. In South Korea, this water is used for various purposes in daily life, and the properties of Hydrogen water are widely known for its ability to neutralize oxidative substances, free radicals, and its anti-aging properties… Hydrogen water-generating devices in Japan and South Korea are recognized as family medical devices and are widely encouraged for use,” he added.
According to Dr. Tuan, when he returned to Vietnam, his main concern was how to give people the opportunity to use good water anytime, anywhere, as water directly affects the body. When invited to join the Kangaroo expert team, he and his team were determined to make a new mark in the Vietnamese market, a step forward in the water purifier manufacturing industry in Vietnam.
Hence, upon its introduction in Vietnam, Kangaroo's Hydrogen water purifier immediately garnered the attention of consumers. Mr. Phung The Vinh mentioned, 'As soon as Kangaroo was introduced, every day thousands of phone calls and messages requesting product information, purchase locations flooded into Kangaroo's customer care hotlines and online consultation channels. It is evident that the concern for a healthy water source is genuinely a top priority for today's consumers.'
