In the Firefox 51 beta, many users have noticed a zoom level indicator appearing on the address bar. In Firefox 51, users also receive some interface changes compared to the previous Firefox 48 version.
This is a new feature being tested on Firefox 51 that allows users to grasp the zoom level of the browser screen. From there, they can adjust the text size in Firefox to fit best. Additionally, users can use this guide to zoom in or out, enlarge or shrink images or text on any webpage in Firefox.
If the indicator shows a level above 100%, it means the website is being zoomed in beyond default; if it's below 100%, it indicates the website is being scaled down.
Introduced since Firefox 3, the feature allowing adjustment of zoom levels in the Firefox browser has undergone continuous changes up to now. Currently, users have several methods to customize the size of web pages in Firefox.
You can click on the View menu and select Edit size to adjust the Firefox interface size. Additionally, users can utilize shortcuts Ctrl + (+) or Ctrl + (-) to increase/decrease screen size. To revert to default size, press Ctrl + 0. Finally, similar to many other browsers like Google Chrome, Opera, or Coc Coc, readers can also hold Ctrl + mouse scroll to adjust interface size as desired.
However, Firefox wasn't among the first web browsers to offer direct zoom level adjustments. Chrome had it earlier but wasn't directly displayed from the start on the browser. Other browsers like Microsoft Edge or Opera also lack this useful tool.
Recently, Firefox has rolled out several new features for users, including the option to enable/disable the quick keyword search feature on Firefox. With this, users simply need to type a word to search instead of pressing the Ctrl + F key combination. However, users can still use Firefox shortcuts to perform actions if they're not accustomed to the new feature.
Amidst the trend of many browsers enhancing various new features, the Coc Coc web browser has seen almost no major changes. Nevertheless, being a browser tailored specifically for the Vietnamese community, the Coc Coc web browser is quite favored and used by many users.
