Do you recall towards the end of last year when Mozilla released Firefox 57, officially known as Firefox Quantum? It was assessed to be twice as fast as previous browser versions.
Firefox Quantum incorporates a new core engine, upgrades to components within the old Gecko tool, with parts written in the lightning-fast Rust programming language. These changes significantly contribute to helping Firefox keep up (and even potentially surpass) Chrome in speed and performance.
One of the most significant improvements in Firefox Quantum is the CSS tool (also referred to as Stylo), enabling the browser on desktops to display pages extremely rapidly. However, this feature was postponed and has not been integrated into Firefox 59 for Android.
Initially, Quantum CSS was slated to be integrated into Firefox 59 for Android but was later postponed and integrated into the subsequent browser version, namely Firefox 60.
Firefox 60 for Android is now available, with the Quantum CSS tool activated by default. However, there's not much difference in download speed between Firefox 59 and Firefox 60 for Android.
