Mozilla has rolled out the official release of Firefox 60 for supported platforms, including GNU/Linux, macOS, and Windows, on the download servers. Users can now download Firefox 60 immediately.
Among the new features introduced in Firefox 60, Mozilla highlights enhanced security indicators for cameras, automatically turning off the webcam light when users disable the video recording feature and turning it back on when they resume video recording. It also includes web authentication support with an API allowing the use of USB tokens for authentication on websites.

In addition to Firefox 60, Mozilla introduces new policy tools, making it easy for IT Admins to deploy the browser in enterprise environments using cross-platform JSON files or Windows Group Policy. Firefox 60 removes support for multiple keywords for the same URL from bookmarks. However, users can use different POST data to override this.
