Instead of the previous blue Picture-in-picture button, Firefox now introduces a gray box on the right side of videos, with text explaining its function. Once Picture-in-picture mode is activated, it shows as a round button with the Picture-in-picture icon, now larger for better clarity of its function.

For Mac users, Picture-in-picture mode can now be activated using Option + Command + Shift + Right Bracket (}). This shortcut even works before the video starts, eliminating waiting for the video to load before switching tabs. On Windows, Firefox now uses DirectComposition for hardware-decoded videos, improving CPU and GPU usage during video playback and extending battery life.
Another significant update is the overall speed of Firefox. According to Mozilla's release notes, websites using flexbox layouts now load 20% faster, session restoration is 17% quicker, and opening new browser windows on Windows is 10% faster. Mozilla's WebRender has been expanded to more Windows users, enhancing web browsing speed for them.
