How to Disable Ads on YouTube with Firefox
Step 1: Download and install the Adblock Plus add-on or Youtube Center script. You can download Adblock Plus for Firefox
Step 2: A pop-up window will appear, click Install to install this Add-on. Wait for about 5 s --> Install Now
Step 3: Activate one or all of the three available functions:
- Malware Blocking: Prevent harmful software from infecting your browsing experience.
- Remove Social Media Buttons: Stop others from tracking your web browsing activity, similar to removing the 'Remove' feature on Facebook.
- Disable Tracking: Render advertisements ineffective on websites.
If you want to disable ads on YouTube, select the Disable Tracking function by clicking the mouse to switch from Off --> On.
Once done, try watching a video on YouTube to see if the ads have been removed.
