OPPO Reno8 Pro Design: Familiar Yet Unique

When we talk about the OPPO Reno series, we must mention the design first. The appearance of the OPPO Reno series recently, or more specifically the OPPO Reno7 and OPPO Reno6 series, features a square-edged frame and a flat back, which is 'trendy'. So what sets the OPPO Reno8 series, or specifically the OPPO Reno8 Pro, apart from its predecessors?

The answer is yes indeed! First off, the exterior design of the device still features a square frame with gently rounded corners, following the current trend, combined with a multi-color frosted glass back, adhering to OPPO's Glow style. Additionally, the OPPO Reno8 Pro also boasts a very large, sturdy camera module, which I believe is a hybrid design. This means a fusion of the square camera module from the OPPO Reno series and the pop-up camera from the OPPO Find X5 Pro 5G. You can check out the video below for the clearest view!

The square-shaped camera module is gently curved upwards, housing two fairly large lenses and a smaller lens along with a flash. Especially if you have a keen eye, you may notice the 'Powered by MariSilicon' text, which means the OPPO Reno8 Pro utilizes the MariSilicon X NPU but at a more attractive price point.

Another thing I really liked about the OPPO Reno7 Pro and am really hoping will be retained in the OPPO Reno8 Pro is the breathing light. The breathing light makes the phone stand out and less boring, but it's quite regrettable that we may not get to see it on the OPPO Reno8 Pro anymore. However, all the information at the current time is still unclear, so let's all wait for the product launch event to be sure!

On the front of the OPPO Reno8 Pro, through leaked images, the screen of the device still retains the 'punch-hole' design in the familiar top left corner, but the bezels are optimized to be thinner. According to Mysmartprice, the OPPO Reno8 Pro will have a 6.62-inch display, operate on an AMOLED E4 panel, Full HD+ resolution, and notably this year we will have a 120 Hz refresh rate screen.
