Qi2 Wireless ChargingiPhone 15 As of now, the sole method to unlock 15W wireless charging on the iPhone 15 is by utilizing MagSafe-certified accessories. Using non-MagSafe wireless chargers will achieve a maximum wireless charging power of 7.5W. However, with the advent of the first Qi2 accessories, iPhone 15 users will be able to charge at 15W with any Qi2-certified accessory.
The inaugural Qi2 accessories from Belkin, Mophie, and Anker are currently undergoing final certification stages. According to the Wireless Power Consortium, they will hit the shelves 'just in time for the holiday season.' The WPC disclosed that there are 'over 100 devices' currently undergoing testing or awaiting certification.
