Trang DailyMeal, a renowned culinary website based in the US, has released its list of the 101 best restaurants in Asia in 2013, including five restaurants in Vietnam.
Daily Meal has voted for the 202 most beloved restaurants in 25 Asian cities, evaluated and voted on by culinary experts, writers, experienced travel bloggers, editors, and more. The voting criteria include: cuisine; presentation/service/style; price; and 'Must-Try' factor.
What's remarkable is that these restaurants are not just upscale establishments but also casual eateries such as Sushi Saito – a 7-seat eatery in a car garage, or Sukiyabashi Jiro – a 10-seat sushi bar in a subway station.
China has the most voted restaurants (28), most of which are in the capital, Beijing. Of the 5 Vietnamese restaurants on the list, 4 are in Ho Chi Minh City and 1 in Da Nang.
Lemongrass Restaurant, Ho Chi Minh City – ranked 21st
