Apple officially launched iOS 11 on September 19, introducing new multitasking features for iPad and various enhancements. iOS 11.0.1 focused on bug fixes and security improvements, released on September 26. iOS 11.0.2 addressed audio issues on iPhone 8, released on October 3.
Apple is also testing iOS 11.1 for developers and public beta testers, adding a range of quirky emoji icons and set to be available by the end of this month.
Most recently, Apple released the iOS 11.0.3 update. The official release notes for iOS 11.0.3 state:
iOS 11.0.3 includes bug fixes for iPhone or iPad.
Update Information:
- Resolving issues, audio malfunctions, and haptic feedback not working on some iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices.
- Addressing the problem of unresponsive touch input on the screen of certain iPhone 6s devices due to non-official Apple screens.
