Locate and attempt to launch hl.exe or Half-Life, depending on which one is compatible with your PC.
Once in Half-Life, navigate to Options -> Video -> Renderer Tab, and choose OpenGL. Then click Apply.
The game will restart. Exit Half-Life at this point.
Now, try launching CS Xtreme v6 again.
Select any mode (for testing purposes, choose the normal mode).
The game should now run smoothly without any issues.
