Method 1: Enable Windows Update in Services
Step 1: Press the Windows icon, type Services into the search => select Services under the Best Match tab below.
Step 2: In the Services window, locate and select Windows Update in the right-hand pane.
Step 3: Under the General tab, select Automatic for Startup Type and press Apply => OK.
Step 4: Continuously, click on Windows Update again, select Start to enable the Windows Update feature, allowing Windows to update => press OK.
Method 2: Restart Network List Service
Step 1: Access Windows, open Services as previously mentioned.
Step 2: Scroll down to find Network List Service.
Step 3: Right-click on Network List Service and choose Restart
Method 3: Fix Windows Registry Editor
Note: This method requires extreme caution from users, any mistake can lead to issues, sometimes even damaging the Windows 11 operating system. It's advisable to backup the Registry before making any changes to it.
- Step 1: Enter Regedit into the Windows Menu search, select Registry Editor.
- Step 2: Navigate to the following path:
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Windows Update\Auto Update'
- Step 3: Click on EnableFeaturedSoftware and set the value to 1.
+ In case you don't see EnableFeaturedSoftware, right-click on an empty space in the right control panel, select New => DWORD (32-bit) Value and name it EnableFeaturedSoftware => set the value to 1.
Method 4: Reinstall Windows 11 Standard Version
