Previously, the Autorun virus wreaked havoc by exploiting the mechanism of opening drives to trigger malicious code. This resulted in uncontrollable spread rates for this type of virus. Microsoft had to decide to remove the Autorun feature for USB drives from Windows 7 and later versions, including updated Windows XP versions. Although the Autorun mechanism has been removed, viruses can still spread simply by opening the drive.
With the Autorun virus, your data files are hidden on the USB drive. Restoring hidden files on the USB drive is not difficult. You can easily fix the issue of files not displaying on your USB memory card.
