Many Apple product owners have reported that whenever they type anything into Safari's address bar, the app immediately crashes.
According to IBTimes, the main culprit appears to be Apple's website suggestion feature integrated into the beloved browser. This not only affects Safari on iPhones and iPads but also the browser on MacBook devices facing similar predicaments.

Every time they enter a website address or search for information, Safari automatically throws them out, returning the device to the home screen. Even after restarting the device, clearing the web history, cache, and more, the issue persists.
Although Apple has announced that it has addressed this annoying issue, the root cause of the problem has not been clearly stated.

To temporarily fix this situation, use Private mode. For a more robust solution, completely disable the suggestion feature. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Safari and turn off Safari Suggestions. On Macbook, go to Preferences > Search.
