Fixing the issue of losing personal access points after upgrading iPhone 6 plus, 6, ip 5s, 5, 4s to iOS 8

After updating to iOS 8 on your device or using iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, you might notice a strange change— the 'Personal Hotspot' feature is nowhere to be found. This feature allows sharing Wi-Fi and 3G networks with other devices.

If you're worried about the missing Personal Hotspot, don't fret too much. Apple has separated the APN settings, no longer shared with 3G networks as before. You can reset it as follows to make it reappear:

The APN for the personal access point has parameters similar to the 3G APN. Different network providers may have different settings:

Step 1: Go to Settings > Mobile

Step 2: Proceed to Mobile Data Network > scroll down, and you'll find the 'Personal Hotspot' option

Step 3: Enter the APN (Access Point Name), Username, and Password corresponding to your network (details below)

Step 4: After entering the information, the 'Personal Hotspot' option will appear in the Mobile section.

Details for each network:

- VinaPhone: APN: m3-world, Username: mms, Password: mms
- Mobifone: APN: m-wap, Username: mms, Password: mms
- Viettel: APN: v-internet, Username: (leave blank), Password: (leave blank)
- VietnaMobile: APN: Internet, Username: (leave blank), Password: (leave blank)
