Fixing the missing Modern UI interface on Internet Explorer 11, IE 11

Users of Windows 8/8.1 are familiar with the Modern UI environment, and they likely know that Internet Explorer 11 ( IE 11) allows running in this Modern environment. In the Start menu, the IE browser has its own blue Tile with the Internet Explorer logo.

: Firstly, open Control Panel by pressing Windows + R key combination. Then type “Control” into it, the control panel window will appear, navigate to Default Program as shown below.

Step 2: A new interface will appear, select Set your default programs

Wait for a certain period to finish loading.

Step 3: A new window appears, click Internet Explorer on the left column and select Set this program and Default.

Click OK to save the settings.
