The term flagship phones refers to the most premium devices within each brand's high-end lineup, typically equipped with the latest and most advanced features, and, inevitably, the highest price tags. However, when flagship phones undergo price reductions, they become a worthwhile choice.
According to our research, a range of officially distributed flagship phones in Vietnam is currently experiencing substantial price cuts, with reductions of up to several million dong.
1. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 see a price drop of up to several million dong
Despite being listed with prices ranging from 24.99 to 26.99 million dong, depending on the storage variant, official Apple distributors are currently selling the Galaxy Z Flip3 for as low as 17.45 to 19.35 million dong, representing a 7 million dong reduction from the listed price.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold3 is currently available at an official price of 31.1 – 33.99 million dong for the 256GB or 512GB variant (previously listed at 41.99 – 44.99 million dong). Therefore, the current price of the Z Fold3 has dropped by approximately 11 million dong from the manufacturer's listed price. This price reduction is believed to prepare for the introduction of the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, expected in July or August.
The Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 duo are Samsung's foldable screen flagships introduced to the market in 2021, featuring a foldable screen design for user convenience. Additionally, these devices boast top-notch features in terms of camera capabilities, processing power, and more.
2. Samsung Galaxy S22 series also sees significant price cuts despite being recently released
Despite being released in February 2022, most versions of the S22 series have already experienced a price drop of 4-5 million dong compared to their initial listed prices.

For instance, the initial listed price for the Galaxy S22 Ultra ranged from 30.99 – 36.99 million dong depending on the RAM and internal storage configuration. However, the base model, Galaxy S22 Ultra 8GB/128GB, is now priced at only 26.19 million dong (a reduction of 4.8 million dong), while the top-tier variant, Galaxy S22 Ultra 12GB/512GB, is currently priced at 31.19 million dong (a reduction of 5 million dong).
Similarly, the standard Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus have also seen price reductions of 4-5 million dong depending on the variant. During promotional 'HOT SALE' events, these prices have even dropped further.
3. iPhone 13 series no longer holds its value
Renowned for being a top brand with high resale value, our investigation reveals that the iPhone 13 series is currently experiencing a price drop of 5-10 million dong depending on the variant compared to its launch six months ago.

Specifically, the current prices for the iPhone 13 are only 19.99 and 25.5 million dong for the 128GB and 256GB variants, respectively, while the initial listed prices were 24.99 and 27.99 million dong. Therefore, the standard iPhone 13 price has dropped by 2.2 – 5 million dong.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 Pro is now priced at only 24.99 million dong, a reduction of about 7 million dong from its previous listed price. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is also priced at only 27.39 million dong, a reduction of 7-7.5 million dong depending on the variant compared to the initial listing.
4. Xiaomi 12 series sees a reduction from 2.5 – 6.5 million dong
Xiaomi flagships are often considered by many due to impressive features at a reasonable price. However, the Xiaomi 12 series is also following the trend of price reductions.

Specifically, the current price for the Xiaomi 12 Pro is now only 21.49 million dong, down from the previous listed price of 27.99 million dong, reflecting a 6.5 million dong reduction.
Meanwhile, the current price for the Xiaomi 12 is only 17.29 million dong, whereas the previous listed price was 19.99 million dong.
