The flamboyant trees along the Small Mountain leading to the Vũng Tàu Lighthouse are in full bloom, attracting a crowd of locals and tourists eager to capture the stunning scenery.
Exploring Vũng Tàu with the Blossoming Flamboyant Flowers

Around early May, tourists exploring Vũng Tàu encounter the blooming flamboyant flowers along the Hải Đăng road—a path that runs around the Small Mountain, standing 170 meters above sea level. The Small Mountain is also known as Tao Phùng Mountain.

Following this road leads to the French-built Hải Đăng Lighthouse, constructed over 100 years ago. It is considered a symbol of the coastal city, often attracting tourists on their journey of Vũng Tàu tourism.

While flamboyant trees are abundant in Vũng Tàu, the ones along the Hải Đăng road stand out due to their thick blossoms, forming a canopy over the road, spanning just over 3 meters.

A branch of flamboyant flowers stretches across the Hải Đăng road, showcasing its beauty.

On weekends, a large crowd of locals and Vũng Tàu tourists flock to capture photos of the vibrant scene.

Equipped with smartphones, two young women comfortably snap and instantly share their pictures on social media.

“The interesting thing about this location is the stunning flowers, complemented by the backdrop of Vũng Tàu city from above. My friend and I took many photos that we are quite pleased with,” said Phuong, a tourist from Đồng Nai.

Dozens of trees are planted along the hillside.

Flamboyant trees line the roadside cafes, where many people choose to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of the city.

This is the final phase of the dry season, with the bare branches of the trees on the mountain making the flamboyant flowers stand out.
