Known as a place where it's easy to live because you can legally do any job to earn money, Saigon has become a destination for foreign entrepreneurs to sell food.
One of the most famous among the stalls operated by foreigners is Klaus Rutt – a guy from Germany who brought his family's traditional sausage recipe to Vietnam to start a business.

Every evening, on Phan Xich Long Street, Phu Nhuan District, it's not difficult to spot a Western guy standing next to a grilling cart, sometimes with a small truck, a few motorbikes serving as tables, and plastic chairs. This is his first stall, well-known to many customers.

Despite having opened an upscale restaurant on Truong Sa Street, he still maintains selling sausages on the sidewalk of Phan Xich Long, as it attracts more regular customers. His main products are two types: beef and pork sausages, both priced at 35,000 VND each.

Also of German nationality, Dieter came up with the idea of combining German sausages with Vietnamese bread. However, the sausages he sells are sourced from a friend who specializes in making German sausages in Saigon, rather than being homemade.

Prices here are more flexible, only 25,000 VND each. Additionally, there are hamburgers and some sausages combined with various types of bread to increase options for customers.

Meanwhile, Mr. Detlev, the owner of a German food spot on Dinh Tien Hoang Street, District 1. Mr. Detlev is known as the cheerful Westerner selling sausages, always friendly with customers.

His spot also regularly hosts gatherings of Germans working in Saigon and those learning German. In addition to sausages, Mr. Detlev's spot also serves drinks and some quite attractive European dishes.

Chefs from the United States have made an impression on Vietnamese diners by selling ribs longer than 35 cm, weighing 1.5 kg with prices ranging from 300,000 to 500,000 VND. Sausages longer than 30 cm seasoned with spicy spices and food laid out on a board, without using plates, the spot is located on Vo Van Kiet Street, Ho Chi Minh City.
