CREATE A NEW USER ACCOUNT TO REMOVE THE OLD PASSWORD.
Step 1: Create a Windows installation USB following the instructions Create USB to install win 10
Step 2: Boot the Windows 10 installation USB.
Step 3: Navigate to the settings interface, then press the key combination Shift + F10 to open the Command Prompt window. Type the following command:
move d:\windows\system32\utilman.exe d:\windows\system32\utilman.exe.bak
copy d:\windows\system32\cmd.exe d:\windows\system32\utilman.exe
Step 4: Enter the command wpeutil reboot to restart the computer. After the restart, a CMD window will appear alongside your system.
Step 5: Enter the following command into the CMD window:
net user Username /add
net localgroup administrators Username /add
Username is the optional name of the new user account.
Step 6: Restart your computer, and you'll see an additional user account created.
Step 7: Log in to the newly created account without a password. Right-click on This PC, then select Manage.
Step 8: In the Computer Management window, click on User, right-click on the forgotten password account, then select Set Password.
Step 9: Click Proceed to continue.
Step 10: Enter a new password for your account, then click OK.
Step 11: Restart your computer, and log in to your old account with the newly created password.
