SofM's affirmation further disappoints VCS audience about former VCS champion.
As known, since being involved in drama with former SBTC Esports player - Zeros, the former VCS champion Winter 2021 E.'s career has almost completely collapsed. Not only because of E.'s psychological or health issues, but also his behavior on social media platforms. Once seen as the 'successor of SofM' and a rare player who could truly challenge Levi, E. lost everything, from opportunities to develop himself in the professional LoL environment to his own career as a player.

Recently, many VCS viewers have posted messages about E. contacting them to borrow money. Of course, almost no one responded to the former VCS champion's pleas. Moreover, many people didn't even bother to reply to E.'s urgent messages. Meanwhile, this player continuously affirms he will repay soon, but what's more notable is that he even impersonated SofM to borrow money. Specifically, according to information from SofM's official page, E. claimed to be preparing to join SofM's Vikings Esports and would work to repay the debt if given the loan.

Immediately, SofM had to address this issue. In a post on the evening of 01/02, SofM affirmed that there are no plans to recruit anyone related to E. nor any actions related to the former CES star. In addition, SofM's official page also warns the VCS community against being misled by one-sided information provided by the former player.

Below SofM's post, many viewers express clear disappointment and disgust when a former player, who was once greatly advised by SofM on gameplay during his active career, now uses the name of his idol for illegal gains. Furthermore, E.'s behavior not only affects himself but also implicates SofM and his VKE team. Not long ago, E. even entered SofM's fan chat to request joining VKE, causing a stir among the fans.

Currently, there have been no new developments from player E. following SofM's post. However, it's clear he's not considering a retreat. Perhaps now, only by completely shutting down all social media platforms and leaving the professional LoL scene altogether can E. put an end to all the drama and troubles he's caused for the VCS community and himself.
