Not only herself but also her family members impacted by recent events
In her debut appearance at last year's SEA Games in Vietnam, Dang Tieu Binh, also known as Nana, born in 2000, impressed as a young athlete. Competing in wushu, she secured two Silver Medals for the Vietnamese sports delegation in Women's Routines and Swordplay. Besides her athletic feats, Nana is recognized in the gaming community as an MC/hot girl of Valorant.

Despite a promising start at the SEA Games in Vietnam, Binh faced mounting expectations from the audience for the next season. However, various sources and online forums have reported that the female athlete will not compete in Cambodia. Alongside this, netizens have continuously criticized, using offensive language to target the hot girl and her family, all because of her real name.
Alongside those who empathize, a negative faction of netizens rushed to criticize. Faced with worsening circumstances, especially as her family members bear the brunt, the Valorant sensation disclosed: 'Initially, my father named me Dang Bui Bao Nhi. But my mother wanted me to excel and be intelligent, so she named me this way.'

This isn't the first time she's found herself in this predicament. Previously, after competing in the SEA Games and clinching a medal last year, the young lady encountered more attacks, malicious criticism, and mental harassment for herself and her family: 'My mother loves me dearly, there are many articles about me, I haven't read them yet but my mother has read them all, even rereading them. And my mother has also read all those malicious words...
My parents divorced early, and my mother raised me alone. She always considered me her pride. She has suffered a lot, and just when she had a little pride in her only daughter, she had to endure malicious comments from the online community. I hope everyone can understand and sympathize with me. Criticize me if you want, but please don't involve my mother - Nana shared in helplessness, hoping for a more understanding view from the community.

As for competitions, Nana confirms that she will not directly compete in wushu at the 32nd SEA Games. Instead, she will participate as a referee in the Valorant category after a year of more investment in Esports activities. Standing alongside the athletes, she encouraged:
I understand the feeling of an athlete participating in the SEA Games wearing the Vietnamese jersey. Just give it your all and don't worry about anything else. When you stand here, you are already the pride of the nation.
