Fortnite, the survival shooter game, has a long history of offering skins based on famous comic book characters. In the past, the game featured the Thanos skin and even hosted a movie night within the game featuring three Christopher Nolan films. Now, Fortnite is introducing a new Captain America skin for fans of the Star-Spangled Avenger.

Get the new skin for 2,000 V-bucks. Along with it, you also receive the iconic Captain America shield. What's even better is that this shield isn't just for show. You can actually use it as a pickaxe in-game to gather materials. Alternatively, you can wear it on your back.
In addition to the new skin, players can also purchase the new Captain America-themed emote. With this emote, you can shoot celebratory fireworks behind your character if you wish, for occasions such as winning a match. However, you'll need to spend an extra 300 V-bucks to get it.
The new skin and emote have been announced by Epic Games in a recent blog post, accompanied by a video detailing the skin. You can check out that video in the blog post on Epic Games' website.
Fortnite has provided a variety of themed skins since its release. We've witnessed the game release Deadpool skins last year. In connection to the Avengers, the game has also sold Starlord and Black Widow skins.
