FPT Play & FPT Television proudly announce their brand integration, becoming FPT Harmony TV service. This amalgamation aims to establish a unified television brand and consistent digital content, boosting competitiveness in the ever-evolving entertainment landscape, providing enhanced experiences and convenience for users.Previously, FPT Television and FPT Play operated with different viewer approaches. While FPT Television distributed content to FPT Telecom customers through wired set-top-boxes, FPT Play provided extensive usage across various internet-connected platforms. Clearly, FPT Play has a significant advantage in reaching diverse user demographics, while FPT Television remains the preferred choice for quality and stable TV content, thanks to MultiCast technology.
Starting from 08/09/2021, FPT Play unveils two monthly subscription plans: Max package (88,000 VND/month) and VIP package (120,000 VND/month). Subscribers can log in and simultaneously watch on up to 3 devices (Max package) and 5 devices (VIP package). VIP package subscribers also gain access to exclusive HBO GO content. Additionally, for football enthusiasts, FPT Play now offers the Sport package starting at only 360,000 VND/12 months.Devices compatible with the new FPT Play platform (including FPT Television) are available on applications for Smart TVs, the FPT Play app for smartphones, and Android boxes. When using FPT's internet connection, users can activate display quality options by selecting the FPT network on FPT PlayBox+ / PlayBox S, provided they use a router supporting Multicast. Apart from improving quality, this feature facilitates low-latency viewing of football matches, preventing situations where neighbors see a goal being scored 30 seconds before you do.
