LPL fans completely unimpressed by FPX's Worlds skins.
According to Riot's regulations, any Worlds-winning team will receive championship skins. Players of the winning team will have the opportunity to select champions, provide input on design to Riot to create their preferred skins. Additionally, each player owning Worlds skins will receive a percentage of revenue from each skin sold. In League of Legends history, Faker has profited the most from Worlds skins, as he alone has owned up to 3 championship skins.

However, despite player selection, Worlds skins are not always highly regarded by the League of Legends community. The most notable example of a failed Worlds skin is the 2019 Championship skin - FPX's championship skins.

According to some LPL netizens, FPX's skins could be considered the ugliest in Worlds skins history. The argument of these netizens is that these skins look quite... 'poor'. Not to mention the case of Doinb. This mid laner had to give up hopes of profit from selling his Worlds skin just because after he chose Malphite to 'please' his wife, Umi left the game, and the Shard of the Monolith was also nerfed by Riot, leading to almost disappearing from Summoner's Rift.

Other champions like Lee Sin, Vayne, or Thresh all have better-looking skins. Lee Sin currently has popular skins such as God Fist, Nightbringer, Dragon Fist, or Muay Thai. Thresh has the High Noon skin, or even the default skin is already 'cool and badass'.

Despite FPX players, except Doinb, opting for skins of still-popular champions, they inadvertently clash with many better-looking, more prestigious skins of those champions. And even compared to Worlds-winning skins like Invictus Gaming's 2018 or DWG KIA's 2020, FPX's skins are clearly not highly regarded, both aesthetically and commercially. Furthermore, at present, FPX 2019 can be considered disbanded, so the skins may only hold nostalgic value for Phoenix fans.
