GUIDE TO FRAME TEXT IN WORD
Assume you have a cover page as shown below and need to frame it. What do you do?
Step 1: Open the Word file you want to frame, go to the Design tab, and choose Page Borders:
Step 2: The Borders and Shading interface appears. Choose the Page Border tab and select the parameters as shown below:
- Style: Choose the framing style: shadow style
- Border Style: Select the border style for framing.
- Color: Choose the color for the border.
- Border Width: Choose the border style in terms of thickness and the number of borders around the text.
Step 3: After making your selections, to frame the cover page, choose Apply to and select This section - First page only as shown below -> finally, click OK.
And the result is you have successfully framed the cover page:
If you want to frame the entire text (including the cover page and other content pages), follow the same steps as the instructions above but in the Apply to section, choose the value: Whole Document (the entire text). Then click OK to complete.
As a result, you will frame your entire text (including the cover page and other pages):

- First, select (highlight) the text segment you want to frame, then go to the Design tab -> choose Page Border:
- Secondly, the Borders and Shading interface appears. Here, you select the Border tab and choose the parameters similar to Step 2 above.
