Last month, Young disclosed that Apple's supply chain had commenced production of the new 15-inch Air's screen, marking the largest display ever offered for this series. At that juncture, DSCC analyst anticipates the MacBook Air's release in early April, a timeframe reiterated in a recent tweet.

As per previous sources, the 15-inch MacBook Air is expected to adopt a design akin to the current 13-inch model. However, it's uncertain whether the 15-inch variant will feature the M2 or M3 chip, as reports have contradicted. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo declared last year that a 15-inch MacBook with M2 and M2 Pro chip options would hit the market in the second quarter of 2023.
Apple typically reserves larger screen sizes for its professional lineup, hence the 15-inch MacBook Air could offer customers more display space at a lower price point. The laptop will also sport a larger chassis, accommodating a larger battery.
Let's stay tuned to see what other surprises 'Apple' has in store for enthusiasts in the coming time!
