Recently, Fujifilm introduced its latest addition to the X series mirrorless cameras, the X-A7, priced significantly lower than its predecessors. According to the company, this camera is designed with a simple layout, minimal controls, and a focus on touchscreen interface. In other words, the Fujifilm X-A7 targets new photography enthusiasts.
Key Features of Fujifilm X-A7
The X-A7 features a new 24.2MP APS-C sensor, enabling autofocus performance 8.5 times faster than the previous X series generation. It boasts 117 hybrid autofocus points, combining phase-detection and contrast-detection autofocus. Additionally, face detection and eye detection autofocus capabilities are improved. ISO range from 200 to 12800, expandable to 100-51200. Continuous shooting speed of 6fps.

The rear of the X-A7 still lacks a viewfinder like the X-A5. However, it comes with a new LCD screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 2.76 million dots. The touchscreen LCD can be flipped and rotated via a hinge on the side of the camera, catering to vloggers and selfie enthusiasts.
Next is the layout. As mentioned, the X-A7 targets new users, so its layout is relatively straightforward. There aren't too many buttons found on this mirrorless camera. It also has a Bright Mode, utilizing HDR and various camera settings to create brighter, more vivid images with minimal user intervention. Additionally, it offers various modes and scenes, such as Light Trails. This mode allows you to achieve the desired interface without much adjustment.
Fujifilm X-A7 excels in video recording with the ability to shoot 4K at 30 frames per second and 1080p at 60 frames per second. The time limits for these two recording modes are 15 minutes and 30 minutes, respectively. For new users, such timeframes are sufficient. Additionally, when capturing fast-moving subjects, you'll notice less rolling shutter effect.

The camera uses a standard WP-W126S battery, capable of capturing 270 shots in Normal mode or 440 shots in Economy mode.
X-A7 can connect and transfer images to a phone via Bluetooth LE. Additionally, it features a USB-C port for connecting to a computer, laptop, and for charging.

The Fujifilm X-A7 mirrorless camera is priced at 700 USD (approximately 16.2 million Vietnamese Dong), including the FUJINON XC15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens kit. It comes in four color options: dark silver, silver blue, bright silver, and camel brown.
