The renowned mirrorless camera manufacturer, Fujifilm, has officially introduced the 'new member' known as the X-T3. This serves as the 'successor generation' to the iconic X-T2 camera, equipped with valuable enhancements, addressing and optimizing the weaknesses of its predecessor.
The first striking feature is the entirely new 26MP APS-C sensor by Fujifilm, incorporating the X-Trans 4 color filter and BSI technology to minimize noise in low-light conditions. Furthermore, the camera's image processing has been upgraded to a quad-core system, providing users with 1.5 times faster autofocus and light metering.
One of the notable strengths inherited from the X-T2 is the top dial system, offering a fantastic mechanical feel reminiscent of vintage film cameras. The customizable dials at the front and rear, controlling the focus points on the camera, enhance the overall shooting experience with a tactile and responsive feel.
Although the screen resolution remains unchanged, the addition of touch functionality improves user convenience for quick navigation in menus and focus points. The Fujifilm X-T3 features a 2.16 million-dot display with a versatile autofocus system, offering users a selection of 425 focus points for a personalized shooting experience.
Regarding the battery, the camera continues to adhere to the previous standard but has been acknowledged for operating with higher efficiency, resulting in an increased battery life from 330 shots per charge to an impressive 390 shots.
